Mr. Philippos Philis
Philippos Philis is the founder of Lemissoler Group and has been Managing Director since its establishment in 1996. In early 1997 he started IMCL Inter Marine Container Lines, one of today’s leading feeder operators in the Baltic Sea.
Philippos graduated from RWTH Aachen with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and he also specialized in Expert Systems applications in Logistics. Mr. Philis also completed the Executive Leadership Program (ELP) at the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM).
Philippos is the vice-president of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber (CSC). and acts as Chairman of the Chamber's Technical Committee and represents the Chamber at the European Community Ship Owners’ Associations (ECSA) on short sea shipping matters. He is a member of the Cyprus Professional Engineers Association (CPEA), the Scientific & Technical Chamber of Cyprus (ETEK) and the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMAREST). He speaks fluently Greek, German and English.
ΒΡΑΒΕΥΤΗΚΕ ΜΕ ΤΟ GREEN KEY ΤΟ ΠΡΩΤΟ ΕΣΤΙΑΤΟΡΙΟ ΣΤΗΝ ΚΥΠΡΟ
Το 2011 για πρώτη φορά βραβεύτηκαν με Green Key εστιατόρια στη Γαλλία. Η Κύπρος είναι η δεύτερη χώρα που βραβεύει εστιατόρια.
Το Αρχοντικό Παπαδοπούλου στον Κόρνο είναι το πρώτο Κυπριακό Εστιατόριο που βραβεύεται. Το βραβείο απένειμε στις 30 Νοεμβρίου 2011 ο Επίτροπος Περιβάλλοντος κος Χαράλαμπος Θεοπέμπτου στην παρουσία Μελών της Εθνικής Επιτροπής.
FIRST RESTAURANT IN CYPRUS TO BE AWARDED WITH THE GREEN KEY
In 2011 the first restaurants were awarded with the Green Key in France. Cyprus is the second country in the world to award restaurants with the prestigious ecolabel.
The first Restaurant in Cyprus to win the award is Arhontiko Papadopoulou, at Kornos. The Award was presented on the 30th November 2011 by the Commissioner for the Environment Mr Charalambos Theopemptou in the presence of Committee Members.

H Eλληνική Τράπεζα και η CYMEPA παρέδωσαν κιβώτια ανακύκλωσης χαρτιού για όλα τα Οικολογικά Σχολεία της Κύπρου καθώς επίσης και ένα dvd με τίτλο «Φλουρής και Διαμάντω, οι μικροί πράσινοι ήρωες» με συμβουλές για μείωση της κατανάλωσης νερού, ενέργειας και άλλων πόρων.
